Sci-fi drama shows gifted child Paul Atreides and his family sent to the hostile planet Arakis in a politically complex takeover. Dune is easily one of the best looking films off the last decade. Director Denis Villeneuve is clearly passionate for the source material and makes the "unadaptable" story of Dune a stellar and otherworldly experience, accessible even to those who've never read the original books. 10/10
The 25th instalment in the James Bond franchise has agent 007 returning to MI6 to retrieve a stolen weapon that wiped out Spectre. Despite the shear amount of Bond films that have been made, No time to die effortlessly stands out as one of the best. The action, characters, music, title sequence and locations are all fantastic and brings lots new to the franchise. Apart from the villain, whose end goal isn't explored or explained very well, this film does everything right. 8.5/10
